Guys love the show. This was a great episode. Will I go and hunt down this dead tv show? Most likely not. I'll wait for the spoiler in the next episode. I do have one question as far as your format. How old of a show are you willing to do? Mr.Ed old or The 6 Million Dollar Man or Wonderwoman, Adam West Batman? Or ST:TNG. Just wondering any of the above or air wolf could be considered for my vote. i have more strange vote for the future. I need to know where you draw the line and also what type of show because you could get votes for Dallas, Family Ties, one life to live, the cosby show, happy days, and falcon crest just to name a few. need to know the ground rules.

Interesting discussion. I would note that alongside TIWWA there is one other active website celebrating Millennium: Back to Frank Black (www.backtofrankblack.com)! This is a fan-led campaign seeking a return for Millennium's Frank Black for one final outing, and enjoys very active support from Lance Henriksen himself.
We're also set to publish a book celebrating the series in the next few months, featuring exclusive interviews with cast and crew and original essays examining various aspects of the series. You can read more about that here: http://www.fourthhorsemanpress.com/Press/B2FBPress.pdf.
As a side note, that synopsis of "Goodbye to All That" originated from the pen of Brian A. Dixon, co-editor of the book alongside myself and founder of The Millennial Abyss, *the* website celebrating the series when Millennium was on air and still preserved online as a lasting tribute.
In terms of how and why Millennium got cancelled, it was a victim of a time when TV viewership was beginning to decline plus of Ten Thirteen's new show, Harsh Realm (which went nowhere fast). Its viewing figures would be a fine success in today's TV landscape, but really we're as perplexed as anyone as to why it wasn't a more enduring fixture in the schedules, and you're absolutely right that its influence is to be seen in many hugely successful series that followed it.
So whilst it's great to hear the series celebrated anywhere, rest assured there is an ongoing and active movement to ensure that the world of Millennium is not quite dead yet. There's so much to be savoured between the pilot episode and "Goodbye to All That", so I would encourage you all to follow your piqued interest, seek out the DVD boxsets and enjoy the series in its entirety. It will answer many of your questions on the themes and arcs explored in Millennium, whilst raising many more!
P.S. Terry O'Quinn remains Peter Watts first and foremost to Millennium fans, and that Group login of his ("My God, it's full of stars") is from "2001: A Space Odyssey." All of the voice logins used in the series were references to classic science fiction movies, thanks to the Millennium Group's chief geek, Brian Roedecker, a character from Season Two.
